Scary Movie 5″ Buzz Leads Up to April 3rd Premiere

October 10,2015

The volatile combination of Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan makes “Scary Movie 5” the most anticipated and the most dreaded movie of the year. The pratfalls and gags air on the big screen for the first time on April 3, 2013, at the world premiere in Hollywood. Those familiar with this unique comedy-horror brand know that the rebooted “Scary Movie 5” will be like no other film in the series. People are buying tickets to the “Scary Movie 5” premiere and the after-party to see the film and the star-studded action.

So far, Lindsay Lohan has threatened to sue Dimension Films for an unapproved probation joke that appeared in the trailer. She also refused to kiss Charlie Sheen during filming because his mouth was too gross. Apparently he wasn’t offended, because a few weeks later he sent her manager a $100,000 check so she could pay off half of a 250k tax bill. This is all according to TMZ, and this is all outside the movie’s hilariously funny plot, which parodies nearly a dozen of the finest flicks and pop culture fads. Veteran comedy masters Pat Proft and David Zucker of “Naked Gun” fame poke fun at “Paranormal Activity,” “Madea,” the “Black Swan” ballerinas, “The Hunger Games,” “Planet of the Apes,” and the entire “Final Destination” series.” They stop at nothing for a good joke about “Honey Boo Boo,” “Fifty Shades of Grey,”

“Evil Dead,” and anything else they can think of.

“Scary Movie 5” is worth watching for the cameos alone. In addition to Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, there are appearances from Mike Tyson, Jewish rapper Mac Miller, Snoop “Still Wants to Be Called Lion” Dogg and Katt Williams, who plays the priest who tries to rid the paranormal home of evil spirits. This reboot of the Scary Movie series will feature some familiar faces from previous installments as well as Heather Locklear, Molly Shannon, Disney Channel darling Ashley Tisdale, Canadian actor J.P. Manoux, Kendra Wilkinson, Tyler Posey and several rumored additions.

The freakishly funny plot centers around the blissful married couple Dan (previous “Scary Movie” star Simon Rex) and Jody (Ashley Tisdale) who discover that their house is haunted after bringing their newborn baby back from the hospital. Paranormal experiences affect Jody’s career as a ballerina and Dan’s unusual job as an ape researcher. After seeing footage of the former owners being terrorized, they seek out a certified demonologist to rid their home of the evil being before it’s too late. There will only be one premiere and one after-party for “Scary Movie 5”, and it is happening on April 3, 2013, days before the theatrical release.
