There's a reason that old sayings are still proving to be truthful, especially in the film industry. Once again, Hollywood is looking over old titles and everything old will be new again. The Universal re-launch of the movie The Mummy will celebrate its world premiere on June 5 in Los Angeles, which for some unknown reason is where most movie world premieres always seem to take place. The Mummy is the first film to be remade and modernized in the Universal Monsters series, which is a shared universe of action-adventure/horror films, including rebooted versions of films from long ago. The films are being produced and distributed by Universal Studios and are currently in various stages of development. All your scary favorites will be returning to the world's theaters in modernized versions. Updates of Count Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Invisible Man, Gill-Man, Frankenstein's Monster and The Bride of Frankenstein are being shot right now and will be popping up for quite some time. Plus, there is always the opportunity for sequels to the remakes.

It might seem sacrilegious to remake the classic horror tales, but special effects have improved so much that each film will surely get a magnificent retelling. Just check out the trailer for The Mummy. That's pretty impressive. You'll notice Tom Cruise is starring. That's a pretty big deal. On top of that, Russell Crowe is co-starring, and the man who has his fingers in all sorts of pies, Ron Howard, is co-producing. Universal obviously has big plans for their Monsters series.

And we have big plans for you. VIP Movie Premiere Tickets has passes to the red carpet premiere AND the super-duper, totally cool after party that will follow the screening. We've already done the hard part. All you have to do is buy a pair of tickets and tell your significant other or your BFF the good news. They'll be happy as a dog with two tails.

The plot looks traditional for a mummy movie. Though safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her anger that has grown over thousands of years and terrors that humans cannot understand. Forget about bandages and slow moving dead folks with their arms straight out. This mummy is mad, and she wants revenge. Nobody, not even Tom Cruise, is going to louse up her sordid plans.

And we promise nobody is going to mess up your plans once you buy your tickets. Right now, we have four passes left, so unless you want to be singing the blues, you should take advantage of the opportunity and guarantee your spot at the world premiere of The Mummy. These tickets are going to fly out the door. Make sure a couple land at your place.
