Zoolander Trailer Breaks Records

January 01,2016

Movie fans are obviously starved for comedies. That has to be the reason that the trailer for Zoolander 2 smashed all the records for views of a comedy trailer. Now only that, but it broke the record in just two weeks. It was first posted on the web on November 18, and the response has been enormous. The previous record-holder was the trailer for Dumb and Dumber To, which was another sequel to a very popular film that was far back in the movie world’s rear-view mirror.

Movie trailers have a life of their own, apart from the films they advertise. In the case of a long-awaited film, the release of the trailer gets people anxiously anticipating the release of the film. If the trailer is good, fans are bursting at the seams waiting for the release. Another recent trailer that crushed records was for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but of course, that film, and anything remotely associated with Star Wars, has long been the record smashingist film franchise ever.

So, here’s the skinny on Zoolander 2. Naturally, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are reprising their roles as Derek Zoolander and Hansel, but this time, it’s not just about fashion. This time it’s much more grave. It seems that there is a conspiracy to kill the world’s most beautiful people, which would naturally include Zoolander and Hansel. And, to make things more complicated, all the victims died while giving Zoolander’s signature look, Blue Steel.

You can be certain cameos, mayhem and hilarity abound in this film. Watch for one of the all-time great cameos by Benedict Cumberbatch as the arch villain. There was a rash of controversy over whether his transgender character, named All, has “a hot dog or a bun.” We guess you’ll have to see the film to discover the naked truth.

If you’re just overwhelmed by the thought of a new Zoolander film, please remain calm. We have tickets here at Vipmoviepremieretickets for you to attend the world premiere and the sure-to-be fun and funny after-party in New York City, the most fun place in the entire known world, on February 8, four days before the film hits theaters.

Don’t dawdle. When a trailer generates this much excitement, it’s for sure that tickets will sell out fast. So, make your move and get to the movie’s premiere. The fun is waiting for you in NYC.
